I was reading this article and it says that in today's times it is more likely for a women to say that they want to be successful than a man. This report was released Thursday and it found that 66 percent of women from the ages 18-34 said that being successfull and having a high-paying job are very important or those are one of the most important things in life and only 59 percent of men said the same thing. At this day and age a lot of men are trying for sports or wanting to be rappers or just stay at farming. I would say that my main goal in life is to be successful. Young women were also more likely to say that being a good parent and having a good marriage were among the most important things in their life.

I think it comes down to personal views as to what is successful. Maybe those 7% of guys that aren't equaling the women think they're successful, even if they truly aren't! :P
ReplyDeleteI agree with you Kelsey, but I also agree with Austin as well. A successful goal is what you make of it! Whether it be being a good mother and having a wonderful marriage, or getting that job as a lawyer in NYC!!! My specific goal is to finish with my RN degree, and be happy with my husband and children! Thats all I ask for!
